It's about time

What does it mean to do the right thing? Is it about doing a good deed at the right moment? Most people can decide after something was done, whether it was good or leanig more to the bad side. Only afterwards we find out if something was good. Goodnes is not like truth - which we can think about and even prove without ever putting it into life.
Time goes by. Streaming is a quality of time. We have to live beside time as companion and in time, submitting our will to a hard but fair master. We can also miss it, and don't do something which we in hindsight see we ought to have done. Because the world moves with or without us, but it always pulls at you, never letting you go. Still we have to step out of times stream – that is, sometimes we need to see the world from the outside, and through this overview reflect on ourselves.
The path to right action at the right time can be summarized in three steps. Plan, do and reflect.
To plan is to make a picture of the future based on what you are cabable of seeing in the past. Thinking about the past, and then to combine the experiences into a picture of the future is to plan. But our own will is only a small part of the future, the free will of other people changes what we can do and what becomes. Sometimes something happens that no man thought of – where did it come from? It might been part of the past that was not clearly seen, or it could be something that other beings than man put into our time.
That much of reflecting and planning – what about doing?
Writing is one form of action, so is reading. Have you ever read something that changed your way of thinking? In thought you are free, that is free to think whatever you will, and to envision what ever action you like. And when you think of a new idea, you are also free in your will when you put the idea to life.
Does a text change while somebody reads it? In one way it does – the idea of the text is recreated, and therefore also grows as the new reader ads his or hers own thoughts to the idea. But does the next reader get theese thoughts?

If you think that writing notes in the side of a book just isn't changing the world enough – then there is a tool which gives you the chance to rewrite the text while you read it. It is called project Ideal Europe idealeurope.org
There you find a constitution for a new Europe, which grows as people read it. This text is as good as the people who read it, and tries to answer a question about time:

›What is the task of our time?‹ You have to ask that question in an individual way – to put into not just your time, but also your space. Where are you living? What do you need to put into the world? You will know the answer when you have done.

It is difficult to express oneself.
But the sun does -
by offering its own being.
